Bob Scaglione, PE – President & CEO
Bob is the founder of APS, Inc. Prior to starting APS, he was the Regional Engineering Manager for a Mid-Atlantic engineering consulting firm. Bob has over 33 years working in the fields of industrial engineering and construction management. His expertise includes project development and mechanical design. Bob holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
John Barnett, PMP – Director of Operations / Senior Project Manager
John serves as the Director of Operations for APS and manages day to day operations of the staff. He has spent over 30 years working in the fields of industrial design and field engineering. His expertise includes project management and an extensive background in energy and water utilization for industrial clients. John holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
Dale Patnaude, PE – Technical Director (Bio-Fuels & Process Chemicals)
As a Technical Director at APS, Dale leads the highly talented chemical and process engineering staff. He has worked extensively over the past 20 years in process engineering for major pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers. His specialty expertise is in the development and design of bio-fuel production facilities. Dale holds a BE degree in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
Eric Howard, PE– Technical Director (Electrical) / Senior Project Manager
As a Technical Director at APS, Eric leads the Power Distribution and Automation Team. He has worked exclusively in the industrial design community for more than 32 years. His expertise includes power and automation systems design, construction management and start up for major industrial clients throughout the US and overseas. Eric holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
Scott Wyatt – Piping Design Group Leader/Sr. Designer
As the Piping Design Leader at APS, Scott leads a talented and experienced group of senior designers.
He has over 30 years of experience in the process/mechanical engineering industry. His expertise utilizing
AutoCAD, MicroStation, and E3D/PDMS helps to serve the design needs of their clients. Industries served include Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chemical, Bio-Fuels, Mining, and Pulp and Paper to name a few.
Richard Owen – Senior Process Engineer
Mr. Owen is a highly skilled chemical engineer with over 30 years of experience in various industries, including biofuels, specialty chemicals, bulk active pharmaceutical and finish dose pharmaceutical. Projects have included extensive work in process design, new product introductions, utility additions, process modifications and start-ups. Richard holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
